Group Programs

These hikes and guided activities are geared toward small groups. They are a great opportunity for bonding with your co-workers, helping your Scouts earn a badge, or just getting your children and their friends closer to nature.

Join an experienced naturalist on an exploratory and educational hike. The group will be led through various habitat types while the leader shares stories and experiences about the natural world inside the park.

Hands-on Adventures

Led by skilled naturalists, these programs are great for youth groups, homeschool groups or after-school clubs. Children will get a hands-on opportunity to watch birds with binoculars, track animals, and investigate the mysteries of the Nature Park.

For the Birds

Discover what makes a bird a bird, what they need to survive, and where they live in this egg-citing program. Find out first hand as we examine bird specimens and use binoculars on a short “birding” expedition into the Park.

Length: 1.5 hours
Ages: 7-11 years
Fee: $72 per group

Turtles to Toads

There are many mysteries that seperate amphibians from reptiles. Through interactive activities learn how these unique animals are adapted to live in our local forest, field, and pond habitat.

Ages: 5-10 years
Fee: $53 per group

Coyotes, Deers
and Squirrels, Oh My!
