The Tualatin Hills Tennis Center staff presents or hosts numerous tennis tournaments throughout the year at our complex on 158th and Walker Road in Beaverton.
Several high school and college teams practice and hold matches from February through May.
Annual 2010 tournaments hosted at our center include:
- Jan. 15th-18th: Boy's Dual Level 5 Tournament. PNW'S best young players in their age group.
- Jan. 29th-31st: Boys/Girls Dual Level 5 Doubles Only
- Feb. 7th-8th: USTA Mixed Doubles Playoffs.
- April 9th: Jesuit High School Girls Invitational Tournament. A select group of high school girls tennis teams from Oregon compete in this popular tournament.
- April 16th-17th: Jesuit Boys High School Invitational Tournament. A select group of high schools boys tennis teams from Oregon compete.
- May 10th-12th: Northwest Oregon District Tournament. Players compete for the chance to go to state.
- May 13th-15th: Metro League High School District Tournament. Players compete for state.
- May 20th-22nd: OSAA State High School Championships. The best high school players from Oregon compete for singles and doubles titles.
- June 17th: OSWTA (Oregon Senior Women's Tennis Association) One day tournament.
- June 18th-20th: USTA Pacific Northwest Qualifying Tournament. Players 14 and older to earn a wild card into the 2010 US Open Qualifying Tournament.
- June 21st-23rd: Oregon State Junior Tennis Championships- Challengers. Top Pacific Northwest Juniors compete for sectional rankings.
- June 24th-27th: Dual Level 5 Division- The top PNW Juniors compoete for the both sectional and national ranking points. THPRD, PCC & Westview H.S.
- July 3rd-7th: USTA National Boys & Girls 12s. Some of the nation's most talented 12-year-olds compete for U.S. titles.
- July 8th-11th: The NIKE Tennis Championships of Oregon. A professional tennis tournament held each year at the Tualatin Hills Tennis Center.
- July 23rd: Youth Tennis Day. A free event for all juniors who are new to tennis.
- July 24: Portland After School Tennis (P.A.S.T.) 9 am- 5 pm
- July 27th: Shriner's Adaptive Tennis Clinic (1:00 pm - 3:00 pm)
- Aug. 6th-8th: USTA Adult League Sectional Tournament. The best teams from the PNW compete for the right to represent our section at the national championships.
- Aug. 13th-15th : The USTA/PNW Wheelchair Tennis Sectionals. The best wheelchair tennis players compete for sectional rankings.
- Aug. 16th-18th: Greater Portland Tennis Council Junior Challengers & THPRD Junior Rookies.
- Aug. 19th-22nd: USTA/PNW Junior Sectionals- THPRD, PCC & Westview H.S.
- Aug. 27th-29th: Junior Team Tennis Playoffs. Qualifying tournament for State Junior Team Tennis.
- OCT 22-23rd: USTA/PNW Tennis Fest (Fri=6-10 pm, Sat=12-6 pm)
- TBD: USTA/PNW Tennis on Campus- College Tournament
- Dec. 3rd-5th: USTA/PACIFIC CUP Juniors. Junior players from S.California, N. California, Canada, Washington and Oregon.
- Dec. 17th-20th: USTA/PNW Junior Challenger Sectionals. Junior players compete for sectional rankings.
In addition to these events, numerous businesses, churches, and social organizations hold annual group tennis tournaments at our complex throughout the year.
