Garden Home Recreation Center (GHRC) was originally built in 1912 and used as a school. In fact, the school's original 1912 bell is still located at the center. In 1986, THPRD purchased the building (which had undergone many changes over the years) and gave it the present name.
Our mission is to provide recreational programs and classes of the highest quality that are affordable, accessible and safe. The classes and programs we offer are intended to enrich lives, stimulate your mind, incorporate fun and creativity, and develop the confidence, self-worth, health and well-being of each individual.
The center is also an access point to the historic Oregon Electric Railroad section of the Fanno Creek Trail. The section is 1.2 miles long and paved. Parking is available at GHRC.

We're only three miles from the Conestoga Recreation & Aquatic Center and five miles from the Cedar Hills Recreation Center (both centers, like the Garden Home Recreation Center, are owned and operated by the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District).

Monday-Friday: 5:30 a.m.-10 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Summer Saturdays: 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Sunday: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Summer Sundays: 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Holiday hours; 10am-6pm: 1/18, 2/15
