Community Schools Program Update
Spring is just around the corner and we have classes available Monday - Thursday at Barnes, Five Oaks, Hazeldale, Jacob Wismer, and Raleigh Hills. We have plenty of room in classes and registration is still open. Sign up now and don't miss out on an adventurous Spring. Here are just a few of the exciting classes we have planned:
Adult Classes
Start learning Spanish, on Wednesday evenings at Barnes we have Basic Conversational Spanish (CS4019501). Lear to get around your computer, on Monday evenings at Five Oaks Middle-School we have Computer Basics - Get Connected (CS4035510). Get an introduction to Yoga, Thursday evenings with Yoga Introduction (CS4042443) at Hazeldale. Also on Thursday evenings at Jacob Wismer you can get the Fitness Advantage (CS4054201).
Youth Classes
Art Classes
Mondays we have Markers and More (CS4014201 & CS4014202) at Barnes. Fun With Pop Art (CS4034200) on Mondays at Five Oaks will open your world to the Pop Art movement. Explore the world with Masks Around the World (CS4044202) at Hazeldale. Turn your favorite story into an art project in Creative Reading (CS4059205) and (CS4059206) at Jacob Wismer. At Raleigh Hills take Paper Creations (CS4064201) and (CS4064202) and create art from paper.
Sports Classes
Come play Dodgeball 101 (CS4012201 & CS4012201) at Barnes on Mondays. Also on Mondays, Indoor Soccer (CS4032211) at Five Oaks will be a blast. Soccer fun (CS4042201) and Soccer Skills (CS4042202) at Hazeldale will take the soccer fun outdoors. On Thursday at Jacob Wismer take the best playground class ever Kickball (CS4052201). Discover sports from around the world in World Games (CS4062221), (CS4062222) and (CS4062223) at Raleigh Hills.
Nature, Science and Education
Nature Science (CS4019231 & CS4019232) Mondays at Barnes will entertain and educate. The Book Worm's Book Club (CS4049203) and Reading Advantage (CS4049204) give the kids at Hazeldale a leg-up on their reading skills. Ecology, Native Wildlife (CS4059231) and (CS4059232) at Jacob Wismer will explore the science of nature.
Exciting Series
We are offering several one-time only classes that are designed to enrich, encourage, educate and entertain. The classes are all in the evening. you can take one class or the whole series.
